At our core, we’re about making theatre accessible, relatable, and actually enjoyable for everyone. Whether you’ve been going to plays your whole life or you’re just looking for something different to do on a random weekend, M.T. Pockets is a space where you can feel comfortable showing up as you are.

Our work is inspired by the culture and character of Morgantown itself. From the people to the stories to the surrounding Appalachian landscape, everything we do is rooted in the community we’re part of. That’s why our style leans a little bold, a little creative, and sometimes even a little weird—but always intentional.

We also don’t take ourselves too seriously. Theatre can be powerful, emotional, and thought-provoking—but it can also be fun, self-aware, and even a bit chaotic at times. We embrace all of that.

At the end of the day, M.T. Pockets is about connection—between performers and audiences, between stories and people, and between a community that deserves art that feels like it actually belongs to them.
